Singularité

This is further enhanced by creating an optical effect of depth on the dial: all edges are hand-polished, just like the other pieces, and the upper arms of the tourbillon cage are satin-finished, creating a mesmerising play of light and shadow.

Cal.9

Reflecting Capek's unwavering pursuit of beauty, mechanical purity was the primary design driver for the new in-house movement, Calibre 9. The guiding principle was that the three main elements (tourbillon, gear train and barrel) should appear on the dial side, perfectly aligned on a vertical axis and appear as airy and light as possible. The open-worked flying tourbillon appears to be suspended between the mainplate and the dial, connected directly to the gear train, and floats in the centre of the dial under a very long, curved bridge.
