Collection: Tutima Glashütte

Tutima Glashütte

Tutima Glashütte is a watch company founded in Glashütte, Germany in 1845. Initially, the aim was to make high-quality watches that could compete with Swiss brands. After World War II, the company moved to western Germany and has continued to exist as a brand representing German watchmaking to this day. The highest precision watches made in Glashütte by UROFA and UFAG at that time were given the title "TUTIMA", which comes from the Latin adjective tutus, meaning "safe". The manufacturing and sales departments of watches that use movements from other companies continued, and Mr. Delecate's management skills overcame the quartz shock of the 1970s, and in 1983 the company changed its name to TUTIMA, which continues to this day.

TUTIMA

In April 2013, the brand will present to its connoisseurs four entirely new watch families: Saxon One, Grand, Flieger, M2 and Patria. These have one feature: they form the first Tutima collection to be made in Glashütte for the first time in 68 years. These watches are proof: a step back can also pave the way for the future. That is why Tutima is called the Instrument of Glashütte.
